The SPEC chassis is a complete replacement of your factory chassis, suspension, brakes, steering and diff to bring your pickup up to today’s safety, performance and comfort standards as well as providing the requirements for a late model drive line and sort after accessories as standard.

The Roadster Shop SPEC chassis comes with a completely new proprietary suspension geometry that has been engineered to deliver an outstanding balance of “new car” comfort, ride quality, functionality and performance. With the ability to easily achieve that aggressive wheel fitment and extreme slammed stance, with air bagged versions allowing you to lay the sills on the ground if desired, the user friendly SPEC chassis package ensures your pickup will function and drive perfectly whilst making your build as simple and efficient as possible.

As an authorised Australian dealer for the Roadster Shop, United Customs has conducted substantial testing in order to satisfy ADR specifications to have the Roadster Shop SPEC chassis range certified for use in Australia. As a result of this we are able to supply your brand new Roadster Shop chassis built to your specifications with a nationally recognised engineering report which certifies its use in Australia as a fully engineered and certified replacement chassis.

Our Roadster Shop chassis’ come with the following standard inclusions:

– Roadster Shop SPEC IFS front end, with fabricated lower control arms and tubular upper arms. The front end has a-arm eccentric mounts for fast, easy camber and toe adjustments. Comes complete with heavy duty serviceable MOOG ball joints.

– Wilwood Pro, drop spindles.

– Heavy duty front sway bar.

– Chassis’ come left hand drive as standard but are available in right hand drive as an option. Left hand drive chassis’ use either Detroit Speed or Unisteer power steering racks. Right hand drive chassis’ use custom Flaming River power steering racks.

– All chassis’ have fabricated motor mounts and High Energy polyurethane LS engine mounts as standard. Any GM, Ford or Mopar engine mount option is available as an option.

– Chassis’ have fully adjustable, drop out trans crossmembers for easy driveline install, adjustments and removal. They also come with GM / Tremec High Energy polyurethane trans mounts as standard, various other GM and Ford trans mount options are available as an option.

– Fully adjustable 4 Link rear suspension with adjustable pan hard rod for the coil over setup or adjustable billet alloy watts link for the air bagged option. Upper rear trailing arms are threaded and lower rear trailing arms have eccentric mounts for fast and accurate diff alignments.

– Strange Engineering 9” diff housing with 31 spline Strange Engineering axles and ½” wheel studs, the diff width can be specified to fit your chosen wheel size.

– Rear frame rails are designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12” wide wheels or 345 tyres.

– RS by Fox height adjustable billet coil overs front and rear or Firestone heavy duty air bags and gas shocks. All chassis’ have an aggressive 4” – 5″ ride height, air bagged versions will lay rockers on the ground with a 29″ tall tyre.

– Chassis’ come with allowances and mounting points for full twin 3” exhaust. They also have integrated mounting tabs for front and rear brake lines.

– The chassis’ are designed as a fully bolt in replacement with CNC laser cut body, radiator support, bumper and bed mounts and no need for any, body or mount modifications. Please note, firewall and tunnel modifications may be required for certain engine and trans combinations in addition to modifications to the bed floor to allow for the chassis kick up.

– All chassis’ come complete, fully welded and fully assembled.
